About Kandila

Hi, I’m Trisha Mitzelfelt.

I have been in the talent development profession for 20+ years. My passion for continuous learning is what fuels my work. I’m an advocate for the underdog and intentionally create spaces for people to feel connected and included.

My career started in the film and games industries, where I was a Recruiter and HR business partner coaching leaders on how to bring the best out of their teams. After marrying my partner, we embarked on an adventure and moved to Singapore. During that time, I had a dose of advertising agency life where I managed talent development initiatives across Asia-Pacific. My heart came back to learning and development (and back home to the United States), when I jumped into the tech industry. While working in start-ups and pre and post-IPO companies, I built and led learning and development functions, designed various onboarding, leadership, mentorship, and skill-based programs, focused on high-impact teaming, and elevated my coaching abilities. In this current stage of my career, I’m utilizing my accumulated knowledge and insights to help others navigate their careers and ignite their inner light.

Personal Fun Facts: I’m a first generation Filipina-American who values authenticity, integrity, and joy. I’m also a proud mom of two who loves traveling, interior design, live music, and dancing.

Credentials: Hudson Certified Coach, Insights Discovery Practitioner, Certified Team Performance Practitioner, Certified Instructional Designer, Change Management Practitioner, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
